The Acurio Health Group is a leader in healthcare design and delivery.
Since the launch of Sydney Retina in 2000, our group now comprises of five world-class hospitals, clinics and research centres across greater Sydney. Our organisations have a shared passion for technological innovation, groundbreaking research and patient-centric treatment. Together, we’re committed to pioneering and delivering the highest quality holistic healthcare to local communities based on their needs.
Through global research, collaboration and education, we are also dedicated to raising healthcare standards in Australia and around the world.
Construction started in late September 2021 on our newest health and wellbeing hub – The George Centre – which will bring the best maternity and paediatric healthcare in the APAC region to the South Western Sydney Community. Located in Gregory Hills, it will be one of the largest private hospitals in Sydney and the only private paediatric facility in NSW, providing much-needed health services to families in this rapidly growing area.
A specialist in healthcare design, development and delivery.
Our healthcare services encompass a range of specialties including ophthalmology; plastic surgery; orthopaedics; dental care; ear, nose and throat services; and general surgery. With the completion of the George Centre, we will also be expanding further into maternity and paediatric care.
All of our specialists, surgeons and research professionals are leaders in their respective fields, enabling us to provide the most advanced therapeutic, medical and surgical solutions to the communities we serve.
Together, our experienced teams of clinical professionals, care providers and administrative staff strive to deliver the optimum patient-centric experience.
As experienced health service professionals, we are able to assist with the management of hospitals and other facilities for improved performance and better patient outcomes. Our extensive expertise in healthcare settings enables us to promote a healthy organisational culture with a clear structure and transparent management practices.
In addition, our leadership team brings a wealth of clinical, administrative and strategic experience in delivering holistic solutions across all areas of healthcare development – from conception to construction. This includes a range of services, from complex planning and project development to assisting with accreditation and licensing.
With healthcare accreditation being a key component of high quality organisational performance, all our hospitals are accredited to the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and licensed by the relevant state health authorities.
Because complying with the relevant standards can be challenging for many organisations, we offer a range of services to help them create safer and more positive environments for patients, visitors and staff. This includes gaining accreditation through implementing best practices and quality systems.
The ongoing education of medical professionals, students and patients is essential for driving constant improvements in healthcare standards and patient outcomes. Our doctors regularly share their knowledge at international conferences and events, and work closely with leading universities and hospitals in Australia and abroad.
We also understand the importance of finding the right people for the right roles in providing exceptional treatment. Our services include the selection and training of suitable employees across all areas of healthcare – from administrative staff to management.
